Alright, here's my update:

After persistently (maybe pesteringly) checking the login page to see if my IV Fee Bill cleared, it just showed as paid and I just printed the sheet (glad I work in IT!). I am ready to mail my DS-230 package.

Here's what I am including:

Please check and add what I missed.

1)Barcode sheet

2)Cover Letter

3)Marriage Certificate and a copy

4)Her Birth Certificate and a copy

5)Her Passport Clearance Certificate and a copy (And a note saying I'll have the Police Clearance Certificate at the interview since our city does not issue a PCC until they have a letter from the consulate requesting it)

6)Wedding Pictures (This is still a maybe)

7)Copy of her Passport

8)Her Passport Size Photos (2)

Am I missing anything?

Removal of Conditions:

07/02/2012 - Sent I-751 packet via USPS

07/05/2012 - Packet delivered

07/09/2012 - Check cashed!

Sean Jean you ask a great question!

I had no idea you needed to include passport pics with the DS230? and I thought you had to bring 6 pics to the actual interview!?

Maybe someone can clear this up as I mail ours off next week as soon as he gets his police report back! I need to make sure were good on all we need to provide as well.

Hello all my fellow VJers!!!

We made it through the interview!!! I am going to try to post it once our whole experience so everyone can read!!! Trust me, I took notes!!!

The end result though, the consulate officer told us Mabrooks! Congratulations and Welcome to the USA! You will receive your visa in a couple of weeks!!!

Insha'allah, I told my husband to wait until the visa is in his hands.

It is customary for the consulate to say this but it is known to be 2 weeks or longer......

I hope the man was being completely honest!!!!!

AND he didn't want to look at one picture or any of the papers!!!!!!!!:blink:

Congrats And_Sam!!!!!!! Its always great to hear when one of the fellow VJer complete the journey successfully

Yes, you are required to send 2 passport type photos with the ds230.

Make sure to show the ears clearly.

Good luck =)

Does anyone know if when you are sending in your sponsers stuff for the AOS, do you have to have 3 years of tax info, can it just be the current one, and also, if I am sending in W-2's do I send in the original or can I copy them and mail them a copy? Is it wise on the cosponser to get there tax transcripts also? Just trying to wrap this up to hopefully mail it this week :P

I dont think they require three years tax returns according to the instructions, but I could be wrong! I submitted copies of the past three years anyway, might as well to be on the safe side!

You can mail a copy of the W2. Save the original!

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has been patiently answering my questions over the past few days. I was seriously lost with the NVC process and honestly I don't know how anyone does this without VJ! We would be patiently waiting for the DS3032 and AOS bill in the mail, stressing about getting it mailed here and delaying our progress by weeks if it weren't for this forum. Honestly you should bottle it up and sell it (but please wait until we are done because I can't afford to spend any more on this process!!). LOL!

Sincerely, thanks again.

hmmmm

Now HERES a question. So since you have to submit originals with the DS230, should you write case number and info on the BACK of those documents? Id be afraid to mark up the original on the face.
