Christeen, this forum is reserved for bitter, angry, frustrated, obsessive, insomniacs, not freshly rested, tanned, hungover lovers.

YOU AND YOUR ROMANTIC VACATION SUCK!

you know I'm just jealous ; ) love you!

OK, I shall limit my comments to bitter discouraging remarks and general negativity!!! LOL... However, I was mearly pointing out that there is a light at the end of this immigration tunnel, and in that light, there are wonderful drinks with umbrellas, turquiose waters and warm sands... Didn't you get an email with your PD informing you that your DS3032 was accepted? I checked the payment portal when it appeared, and the IV bill was available to be paid.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

In the interest of NVC noobs, here's Christeen's time tested formula to get you through NVC in one piece alive:

Petitioner: Get NVC # + give operator your email IDs + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send I-864 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page.

Beneficiary: Get NVC# + receive DS3032 + send DS3032+ DS3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay & wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail DS230 package with all original/certified documents

= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Currently the # of business days NVC is taking:

3-6 days for NVC to receive your case and assign a case #.

3-4 days to receive emailed links after case # has been assigned and email addresses been given to NVC operator.

1-2 days for the AOS bill to show as PAID.

5-7 days for DS3032 to be accepted.

1-2 days for IV bill to be PAID.

7-10 days for case complete after all your documents have been sent in.

Hello everyone!

Lot of catching up to do even though I was only gone for less than a day.

Anyway,I paid my IV bill on Friday morning and so I hope it shows up as paid on Monday. I'll Fedex my DS-230 package Monday evening if all is well. Quick questino though: My wife has only gotten a Passport PCC because her passport is less than 6 months old. Although it will be six months end of Feb, i.e. after we send in the DS-230. Should she still have to get a clearance certificate from the local Police Chief's office since her passport will be more than 6 months old when she gets to the interview in April (Hopefully)?

Any ideas?

Removal of Conditions:

07/02/2012 - Sent I-751 packet via USPS

07/05/2012 - Packet delivered

07/09/2012 - Check cashed!

It should depend on when NVC starts reviewing your DS230 & docs (just an educated guess, but the 6 month policy should be in effect when they start reviewing your docs). I would nonetheless go ahead and get the local Police office PCC and send it as later on with the IV Cover Sheet so you won't lose any time in case they decide that you need to submit the local police office PCC. Good luck!

I think the NVC forgot to update on friday night. Just check the site on monday...i got my IV bill showing not paid almost 2 days before I got the e-mail. My bank shows that the fee bill has cleared, but it still shows in process. Oh well...at least we are at that stage.

hmmm I stand corrected...just checked online and we show PAID for the IV bill!!!!
