no I have not reveive the IV bill..that what I was checking in the web page when I found out the problem ..Now it shows IN PROCESS so I will wait until Tuesday... I believe something like that happened the bank approved it but then they did not charge it..I am not sure...

This happened to me as well I paid mine as soon as it showed up, then it showed rejected. So I paid again and then it went into the IN PROCESS mode then all was fine.

Just checked my bank online and it shows they paid the $400 to the NVC. So the payment site should show paid here pretty quick...definately by monday night I would think...or maybe within the next 30 mins as it is almost midnight there. Either way, it shows cleared by my bank. I will be sending in everything to the NVC within about a week or so as I am still in the philippines. Need to get that korean police clearance next week before we can send the 230 package in.

So your bank did not make the payment, Estrella? Hopefully, it'll clear by Tuesday. Did you get your IV bill yet?

Hmm, I had the same problem with my I-130. They charged our check, the bank approved the transaction and showed it as pending. Then a few days later it apparently showed no transaction. We waited for our NOA1 for weeks and then found out some USCIS drone cancelled our petition for incorrect filing EVEN THOUGH it went to the correct place. Cost us a freakin' month RIGHT at the beginning. I was livid.

Folk--Your timelines. PLEASE.

Deep--When are you hoping to send in your DS230 package tentatively?

Wahooooooo, NVC finally updated the AVR for us.....

"The NVC received your documents on Feb 19, 2010. Please allow 6-8 weeks from this date for the NVC to review your documentation and notify you of the outcome of the review."

Not ENTIRELY sure, but just throwing in what I assume, so don't take it for Word of God (For that, speak to the bloke who signed for my DS3032)...

I would say co-sponsor would have to have a job, as they are co signing for the petitioner who cannot sponsor you by themselves. I could be entirely wrong, but it doesn't make sense to have a jobless co sponsor...

Unless, it's going off their assets maybe??

You can send in your DS230 and your AOS together but make sure they're marked separately in different folders in one big envelope.

Once you pay your bills, in a day or two it will show up as PAID and you can print out the cover sheet with the bar code.

If your joint sponsor is sponsoring you on their income, you need to send in an employment letter/pay stubs to show ongoing current employment. Different thing if they're sponsoring on assets.

Once you have your interview date, you can postpone it via the consulate. Call/email them.

You have a 180 days to use the visa, otherwise it will expire. Sometimes, the consulate can extend its validity, at its discretion.

thank you Muslim queen . AUS2USA and sachinky for answering my questions

and i would like to know for how long Ebassy can postpone my interview because its might take like ( 6months - 1 year )

thanks again

take care (F)

Engo -- Wait till you get the interview date and then speak to the embassy about postponing it. Keep it mind certain things like PCC and medical are valid only for 6 month to a year so you might have to redo them. OR you can go through NVC really, really, slowly. Like the return the packages after 3-4 months or so. It's really upto you.

Gina--I haven't called the AVR yet, but good to know yours has been updated. Hopefully, mine has been too! I'll call once I get back from the movies. Good luck, sister!!:)

You aren't alone girl! That's why we have VJ to vent.....Let me guess, you're not sleeping anymore either. Because WHEN we get done with this paperwork hurricane, THEN they may still get a RFE or worse, denied at the interview and of course you read THEN they could even get denied at the POE is my horrible thought! So until he is IN MY ARMS at SF airport, I won't believe I am done with this.

Last night I actually slept all night, because I just got a good update at AVR. Past 3 nights......horrible! I really do see the light at the end of the tunnel though. Hurry hurry and pay your fees, maybe you can make the March interview scheduling! THEN imagine how good your weekends will be in 3 months!! My guy should be here just in time to BBQ : )

No emails for me either.. i am worried if they got our emails wrong..if i don't hear from them next week i think i m going to call. Good Night everyone.. Weekend is here.. :D

I called the NVC and got my case number and at that time I told them that I wanted to communicate via email and wanted to make sure that they had both mine and my hubby's email, they had mine already on file and said that they could not update anything at that time, so I called back the next day and talked with a really nice lady, and told her the same thing that I wanted to communicate via email, she also already had both of or emails in the system at that time and told me that I would be getting an email this week... well here it is Saturday with no emails... I am assuming that I am just wanting to rush everything and I bet that we both will get the emails sometime in the begining of next week :D Everything happens in due time
