I got the Passport PCC the same day. I went early morning to the passport office with my wife, they took my forms in the morning and in the evening they gave her the PCC.

As for the District PCC we knew someone in the office so we got it in 2 days. They actually sent an officer to my wifes home to check if she really lived there. It might have taken a little longer if we did not have any contacts in the district office.

well this is what he keeps telling me.. I guess I will find out... his Father is the retired Police Cheif or what ever the title is at the District Police Office and AMit is going to take his Father with him to get the Police Cleareance.. he said that he should have it in a few days, and then his Best Friend is also some police officer in Delhi and has conections with some ppl at the passport place... All this is soo foreign to me.... so I might be freaking out over nothing... I was just so aggervated that I have requested him to get this done for the past month... and now hopefully it will be done by next week

Wew!!! We just got our AOS and DS-3032 emails from NVC after my third call to NVC:) On the third call yesterday, the operator put me on hold and after a few minutes he told me that i should get emails from NVC soon. I feel alot better now:)

If his father was the retired Cheif of police then you are good to go. You should have in no time. My contact in my district office was an ex cheif too.........He was my In-laws next door neighbor :-). He just made a call and had my PCC in 2 days :star: But yeah time to move quick on it though.

Expect the DS3032/AOS emails 5-7 days after your case # has been assigned and email IDs have been given to a NVC operator.

have you checked the AVR system confirming that they received your package? I overnighted my package last saturday and they received it on tuesday at 11:46am. i checked th AVR system today and it says that they received the package yesterday february 18. they took two days to acknowledge that they received the package?

Actually, I haven't yet. Was going to wait till midnight. But what the hell, might as well give them a call. The AVR is the last to be updated so don't worry.

my ds3032 was accepted and the 400 bill is available to pay, should i go ahead and pay it or should i wait for the email??

10/08/09: i824 transferred to local field office, went to field office, they said they dont have any info, called USCIS, they said it was an error, i shouldn't have filed i824...expedite request....no response..

10/28/09: contacted congressman

1/29/2010: USCIS located my files

Just because I am so giddy and ansty right now...If my $400 payment gets accepted tonight, would it make sense to overnight my DS-230, or will they not receive it till Monday morning? Or maybe receive it but not look at it till Monday morning?

the last thing I need it... after the payment was already paid and cover letter printed now it shows REJECTED...we paid it again...this people are crazy my AVR message says that the payment was received on the 13th...
