Yes Sachinky, they charged me $38 and some change. Anywho, I just paid my IV fee bill too. I should have waited and sent them together. Although I wasnt expecting it to be this quick. I hope to have the DS-230 package out the door tomorrow evening. Here's hoping for the best.

Removal of Conditions:

07/02/2012 - Sent I-751 packet via USPS

07/05/2012 - Packet delivered

07/09/2012 - Check cashed!

In Brazil we can print it out online and the consulates accept it.

If you go in person to the office it takes about 2-3 days.

Maybe they have the online option in India?

Melody--Ask him to get them ASAP!! Mine took 3 weeks for the local PS PCC and one week for the RPO PCC. Tell him to do it first thing Monday morning.

SeanJohn--w00t! Your IV bill should clear in 24 hours. So you can have your DS230 packet by Monday evening, at the very latest.

DS3032s are currently being accepted in 7 business days, folks.

Hahahha, online option in India, hahaha. Seriously, you walk into their office, there's stacks and stacks of papers and files and folders lined up against the walls since the 1970s. What a joke.

In the interest of NVC noobs, here's Christeen's time tested formula to get you through NVC in one piece alive:

Petitioner: Get NVC # + give operator your email IDs + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send I-864 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page.

Beneficiary: Get NVC# + receive DS3032 + send DS3032+ DS3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay & wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail DS230 package with all original/certified documents

= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Currently the # of business days NVC is taking:

3-6 days for NVC to receive your case and assign a case #.

4-5 days to receive emailed links after case # has been assigned and email addresses been given to NVC operator.

1-2 days for the AOS bill to show as PAID.

5-7 days for DS3032 to be accepted.

1-2 days for IV bill to be PAID.

7-10 days for case complete after all your documents have been sent in.

03/27/2009: Engaged in Ithaca, New York.
08/17/2009: Wedding in Calcutta, India.

I got the Passport PCC the same day. I went early morning to the passport office with my wife, they took my forms in the morning and in the evening they gave her the PCC.

As for the District PCC we knew someone in the office so we got it in 2 days. They actually sent an officer to my wifes home to check if she really lived there. It might have taken a little longer if we did not have any contacts in the district office.
