Nothing on my bank account.

I'm gonna go ahead and pay again. I dont wanna wait any longer and just sit around.

I'm soooooo frustrated right now.

If nothing has been deducted from your account then I would say you are safe to repay it. that is what I ended up doing because I screwed up the numbers for the routing number on my checking account!!! Once I put it in CORRECTLY, it showed as pending in my checking account the very same day and I had PAID on the website the next day. I think you are safe doing it again!!!

My husband just called them to make sure all the information was straight and it was. They already had his email address too. :o

Maybe the shortcut is not updated and now they don't even need us to call them and inform it? - hope so, that's how it should work anyway.

Sachinky, you advice was great. I'm going to email the DS3032 today. I'll make sure to email/mail them after I receive the request again as you said. Also, how it could hurt? It's just an email right!? It's not like sending the AOS and DS packages before being asked, you know.

Things seems to be moving along!!! Hope we all have a speedy NVC journey!!!

Go team NVC!!!!!

Thank you all for giving me support!!! You are all great! (F)

Okay, the phone numbers are on the I-130 petition so they could've easily gotten it off that. As for the email IDs, I'm wondering if some people sent in cover letters with the I-130 and that had the email addresses on them? They had our phone numbers and she asked me to verify them. Then she told me if she could have BOTH our email IDs so she could put them on the file.

Best to still call them and give them/ensure they have the email IDs instead of waiting to hear from them. It's just one long phone-call.

As for the DS3032, I was curious about mailing it earlier so I searched through some other sites (Sorry, VJ, you're still my #1 :)) and some of them DO recommend emailing in the Choice of Agent as soon as you receive the case number as a way to save time. Eitherways, the time to accept DS3032s has drastically reduced from the 2-3 weeks it was taking a few months ago.

While the NVC guides are helpful, it's still very dense. I remember printing it out and highlighting parts and drawing flowcharts and whatnot while waiting for the NOA2. I had a lot of time then. It's a lot easier to break it down into parts.

In the interest of NVC noobs, here's Christeen's time tested formula to get you through NVC in one piece alive:

Petitioner: Get NVC # + give operator your email IDs + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send I-864 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page.

Beneficiary: Get NVC# + receive DS3032 + send DS3032+ DS3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay & wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail DS230 package with all original/certified documents

= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Currently the # of business days NVC is taking:

3-6 days for NVC to receive your case and assign a case #.

4-5 days to receive emailed links after case # has been assigned and email addresses been given to NVC operator.

1-2 days for the AOS bill to show as PAID.

5-7 days for DS3032 to be accepted.

1-2 days for IV bill to be PAID.

7-10 days for case complete after all your documents have been sent in.

Hello

I am wondering about how long does it take for the IV Fee status show as "PAID" after you already made a payment. We paid the fee on Feb 15 and it's still showing as "IN PROCESS" and they already took the money out from our account.

Thanks in advance.

Sanchinky, didnt I read some where that you emailed the DS-3032 early? if I am not mistaken... did you email it before they sent you an email? and if so, how soon before their email did you send yours? And if I am dilusional... then plz feel free to correct me

Hello fren,

you can send DS 3032 by email early and send form ds 3032 by Express mail signed by beneficiary. Nvc response 7-15 days for email, it might take little longer than hardcopy send by mail.

I sent ds 3032 by email in 21 jan and sent hardcopy by mail in 26th jan and they generated iv visa fee in jan 28.

I would suggest you to send it by mail also it is faster. my case was case was completed 21 day at NVC.

best of luck

case assigned: 1/20/2010

visa fee bill generated : 1/30/10

vis fee bill show paid : 2/2/10

DS 230 mailed overnight by usps : 2/3/10

Guys I have another question. My co-Sponsor is my brother and he has to go outside the country from a month or so. Can I just download the I-864 AOS form online and make my brother complete it and sign it before he goes next week? I have not received DS-3032 form or paid any AOS fees yet.
