Just to clarify, last night I called the NVC to see if they had processed my case and issued me a case number (they had) they asked for my DOB and my husbands DOB and then she verified my telephone number and email address. I didnt give them my email they already had it. SO I called the NVC this morning :

I just got off the phone with a nice NVC operator, I was calling back to make sure they knew that I wanted to communicate via email. The operator already had my email, telephone number and my husbands email and telephone number... so I didnt need to give them anything  doesnt make sense, thought I had to give them my info?? But glad that they already have it.... She told me that they would email me in a few days that they couldnt give me my IIN over the phone, before they send an email to me the supervisor goes over all the information that was inputted in the computer and then they send it out.

On a brighter note, I made the NVC operator laugh  she told me I brightened her day

Sean John--You're on your way now. Don't worry too much about it. It'll show up as PAID tomorrow, hopefully and you can send it out on Friday or you can send it with the DS230 stuff, if you want, once your IV bill clears as well.

As for the DS3032, there's really nothing to lose by emailing it earlier. I did and it saved me about 3 days. The only thing is to hope that it doesn't get accepted before they actually email it to you. For example, I emailed it on 01/30, they emailed me on 02/05 and accepted it on 02/09. So by the time they accepted my choice of agent, it had already been requested. I'm not sure what would happen if they accepted it before it was officially requested -- probably just ignore it. In that case, email it again when NVC emails you the links. And mail the hardcopy. I think you'll have your emails by Monday, any way. It's really up to you.

It's ALWAYS better NOT to send in anything or pay anything UNLESS NVC has asked you to do so but with this I figured might as well take the chance because there really isn't any ramification, is there? If it gets accepted a couple of days earlier, then great. If not, just email it again. The great thing about emails is that it's free! :)

Thanks for all the support Sachi!!

I sure hope it goes through in a day. Also, when does the IV fee bill get generated? Is it after they receive the AOS packet or after they accept the DS-3032?

Melody, in case you missed the above post -- As for the DS3032, there's really nothing to lose by emailing it earlier. I did and it saved me about 3 days. Sean--Your IV bill will be generated as soon as your DS3032 is accepted. The generation might happen before you get the email requesting you to fork over $400. I paid it early. Haha. Ok, I'm breaking all the NVC rules but it was fine because by the time the payment cleared, their IV Bill was already in my email.

Folks: If you do decide to email the DS3032 early, PLEASE don't forget to email it AGAIN once it is officially emailed to you by NVC. My Priority Date was only in the second acceptance. Not the first.

Obviously, this is not a fool proof plan and is kind of dicey because we're not really sure how NVC works. Mine paid off luckily but please don't think I'm asking you to break the guide rules. The best thing to do is to wait till those emails come in. DS3032s are being accepted in about 5 business days now.

Also, PLEASE ensure that your VJ timelines are up to date.

And one correction: It's 5-7 days to receive AOS/DS3032 links in the email AFTER NVC HAS ASSIGNED CASE # NOT after we've given the the email addresses. Ok?
