I just wanted to clarify something. If i have a case # assigned at NVC can I just email them the DS 3032 to NVC instead of mailing it? Do I have to first give them our e-mail addresses or can we go ahead and email the form?

You should first give them both your email addresses and they will send you the first emails for the DS-3032 and the AOS. And then you can email the DS-3032 after you receive the email.

Removal of Conditions:

07/05/2012 - Packet delivered

07/09/2012 - Check cashed!

Does anyone here know if the consulates in India were closed last Friday (Feb 12th). The consulate website (chennai) don't specify Feb 12th on the list of closure days, so.... The reason I asked is because I've been tracking our packet sent from NVC via DHL to Chennai and it seems there was an exception on Friday, Feb 12th as DHL reported the premises closed. I expected them to closed today for President's day, but Friday doesn't seem to make sense.. any clues anyone?

I have not sent DS230 package... It clearly says that some document missing (I know you are right here)...

If the AVR is stating that there is something missing, you should be getting an email about it soon to see what it is...good luck, I hope it is a false RFE :thumbs:

my dad is going to be the co sponsor, I dont think that I am going to have enough time to get his tax transripts before I am ready to send in my AOS, (or atleast I am hoping not :D) he has filed his taxes with turbo tax the last umpteen years so he has all his tax information that he can print out.. will this do in place of the tax transcripts?

If you send the turbo tax print outs you will still need to send in the W2s and any 1099 or 1098 forms that goes with it. If you can get the IRS transcripts, then you do not need to send in the additional information.

Are they normally open on Fridays? The us embassy in Cairo is closed on Friday and Saturdays and open Sunday through Thursday. :blush:

Once you get your interview date from NVC, go to dhl.com the next day and use their track by reference option. Assuming you got your interview date from NVC yesterday (hypothetical), you would type in EXP 15 FEB 2010A today . You will surely notice your packet among the ones going to the different embassies around the world.... :) Once you see your packet, copy down your tracking number and track your packet :)

I think their operating hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm. It must have been some holiday I'm unaware of ... lol...
