hey sean perhaps is because takes two business days and Friday was the only business day..so by Tuesday it should be showing paid..

Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow now. I hope I will get my DS-230 from the wife here today. She sent it from India on Friday via Fedex.

That should about complete my next set of documents along with the IV Bill.

Although I might get one, coz I just found out my Marriage Certificate lists my place of residence as India!!

This mistake was because my marriage certificate was based on my passport, and I had an Indian passport at the time. I didnt become a USC until I came back after the wedding. I hope they dont see or just plain ignore it.

I called AVR- NVC, got a message.

My AOS was received and some document missing and got RFE for it. I have not received anything yet.

Here was my list -

1. I-864 Coversheet (with barcode)

2. Form I-864 (Signed and dated)

3. 2008 IRS Tax Transcript

4. 2008 IRS wage and income transcript

5. 2007 IRS Tax Transcript

6. 2007 IRS wage and income transcript

7. 2006 IRS Tax Transcript

8. 2006 IRS wage and income transcript

9. Letter of Employment, mentioning employment and wage for 2009.

10. Pay stub(s) from the most recent six months

I am easily over the Poverty Line...

So we can find out if we have an RFE from the AVR system? Is that the only or the fastest way to get RFE notification?

Sach are you checking the AVR? Not yet because of the holiday, but should we be this week?

Sachinky... You are right again... They are waiting for DS230 and all the civil documents.

I got the 2 things in one email from NVC today.... (Which AVR call RFE)

1. Correspondence Instructions -

It clearly says that "Put barcoded sheet on the TOP" of the package ( we should not put cover sheet on the top, cover sheet can be 2nd document BUT BAR CODE SHEET must be on TOP).... I will call them tomorrow for this and also for AOS status.

2. Immigrant Visa Application -

They are missing DS230.... (I have not sent it yet)

I am OK now...

my dad is going to be the co sponsor, I dont think that I am going to have enough time to get his tax transripts before I am ready to send in my AOS, (or atleast I am hoping not ) he has filed his taxes with turbo tax the last umpteen years so he has all his tax information that he can print out.. will this do in place of the tax transcripts?

letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the

address provided.

This RFE is for me ---- I have to got RFE for it.... Nothing else can be found wrong.. so, I was RFE for NOT paying attention... my bad..

I just wanted to clarify something. If i have a case # assigned at NVC can I just email them the DS 3032 to NVC instead of mailing it? Do I have to first give them our e-mail addresses or can we go ahead and email the form?

You have to give them your emails. Then when it generates you can email it. cut i have also heard people who email it right after they give them the email address and they are fine
