Well, Arnell, you might have missed the scheduling for the March interviews during the second week of the month, but who knows, you might get an interview date any day now. Call NVC on Tuesday and speak to an operator. I hope you get it soon! Good luck.

Yes, NVC will email you an appointment letter with the date/time of the interview.

What actually happen, on Thursday February 11 around 3 pm NH time i went on NVC web page, and i sing on using my case number and invoice number, and i got message sing in failed, what was great,, but there is only one day left for scheduling, and that was Friday,February 12, so i call NVC that day and ask them about my case, lady on the phone told me that do my case was completed today ( Friday February 12, but i got message sing in failed on February 11)

So i don't know , some time NVC people on the phone get information later, maybe at time when i was on the phone with NVC lady, my wife case was on scheduling desk, so what we could do is do still play this waiting game.

Hello all,

I paid my I-864 bill on Thursday and am still waiting for it show as paid. Seems like a really long time.

Aside from that, I am in a little bit of a dilemma here regarding my tax returns.

My completed I-864 only has my returns listed up until 2008. I have my W-2s now and am planning on filing my return today. Now I dont have a ITIN number for her so I am going to file as I normally would. So my questino is this: Should I create a new 864 including my 2009 returns? Or should I send it in as is and just give her the 2009 return to take to the interview?

Any one is in this mess?

If you have mailed in your 864 then just give her a copy of the 2009 tax form and W2 for the interview. IF you haven't mailed them in yet, it would make sense to go ahead and redo the 864 to include 2009 taxes.

If you call the NVC they will give you the same old song and dance of we schedule the appointments the 2nd week of the month, to please call us back if you don't hear from us the 3rd week...etc..

Well I got the interview email on the last week of December so don't give up hope!!

My mother in law is going through the NVC process. Can you let me know if we have to send in the passport clearance certificate from the passport office? Also, did you send the police clearance certificate to NVC with DS-230. Thanks for all your help.

can some one can check to see if this is Ok is about the question of all jobs for the last ten years in the form DS 230 Just check the times so I dont have any gaps..

Please note that the two jobs of 2005 were the ones in Washington Dc with the J1 VISA.. one was full time and the other was part time..IT IS OK TO PUT BOTH??? I arrived in USA April 28th 2005 BUT I did not start to work until May 5th 2005 SO thats why I put Unemployed until May 2005

I listed High School and everything that came after, it was approved with no problems.

And your job history has no time gaps from what I can see, you're good to go.

Yes! That sounds good. The only other schooling I would list is if you have a degree in it, ie...computer science...that kind of stuff...
