1- i read that i can send all papers together the I864 and the DS 230 so how that could be possible if i dont have the barcode of them?

After you pay the Bills for each one you will get to print the Barcode sheet. You can send them and the same time but NOT in the same packet.

2- is it wrong if the Co sponser doesnt have job right now so there is no employment letter?!

Well i did not send employemt letter and i only sent 3 months of check stubs. But make sure they make enough

3- when the case complete and i get the interview date can i reschedule the date of the interview ?

Yes, but i takes a while

4- when i get the visa i know its have 6 months validity but what if the 6 months done and still didnt travel is anything i can do to stretch the validity of it or regenerate it? because i may not allowed to be out of the country

After that you will file for the 10 year Green Card

Not ENTIRELY sure, but just throwing in what I assume, so don't take it for Word of God (For that, speak to the bloke who signed for my DS3032)...

I would say co-sponsor would have to have a job, as they are co signing for the petitioner who cannot sponsor you by themselves. I could be entirely wrong, but it doesn't make sense to have a jobless co sponsor...

Unless, it's going off their assets maybe??

You can send in your DS230 and your AOS together but make sure they're marked separately in different folders in one big envelope.

Once you pay your bills, in a day or two it will show up as PAID and you can print out the cover sheet with the bar code.

If your joint sponsor is sponsoring you on their income, you need to send in an employment letter/pay stubs to show ongoing current employment. Different thing if they're sponsoring on assets.

Once you have your interview date, you can postpone it via the consulate. Call/email them.

You have a 180 days to use the visa, otherwise it will expire. Sometimes, the consulate can extend its validity, at its discretion.

Hello all,

I paid my I-864 bill on Thursday and am still waiting for it show as paid. Seems like a really long time.

Aside from that, I am in a little bit of a dilemma here regarding my tax returns.

My completed I-864 only has my returns listed up until 2008. I have my W-2s now and am planning on filing my return today. Now I dont have a ITIN number for her so I am going to file as I normally would. So my questino is this: Should I create a new 864 including my 2009 returns? Or should I send it in as is and just give her the 2009 return to take to the interview?

Any one is in this mess?

NVC mostly schedules interviews on the second week of the month. However, many applicants have received their appointment letter at various other times of the month, so this is not a hard and fast rule. My consulate, for example, assigns dates on the last week of the month as well.

Interview appointments are made according to the consulate's availability.

Also, please fill in your official VJ timeline.

1-2 business days for bills to show as PAID.

You can fill in your AOS forms according to your 2008 taxes, if your 2009 taxes haven't been filed yet. Be sure to have your 2009 ones at the interview though.

I'm in the same mess! My in law is filling the 2009 taxes this weekend, but I'm sure we won't have the returns/transcripts in time to send to NVC.

So we are hoping to have them by the interview date.

Just send the I-864 with the 2008/07/06 and send a copy of the 2009 W2 to NVC as well. Maybe it's not even necessary, but it can't hurt.
