Hi,

Can someone tell me how soon after I receive my NOA1 in the mail for my AOS packet should I expect to get my biometrics appointment letter in the mail? I filed on Jan-08-10 and my NOA date is Jan-12-10.

I seen other people time lines as getting the letter in 7 to 8 days, but i have not gotten mine and a week has past since i got the NOA in the mail (16-Jan-10)

Does anyone know if I should have received my biometrics letter my now?

Don't panic! If you don't get the biometric appointment letter within 30 days of your NOA1 call USCIS and do a service request for one.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Someone told me that it depends on how busy your area is, and they assign them as appointments are available. We filed in December and just today got our notice. (check my signature for exact dates)

K-1:

January 28, 2009: NOA1

June 4, 2009: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 11, 2009: Wedding

AOS:

December 23, 2009: NOA1!

January 22, 2010: Bogus RFE corrected through congressional inquiry "EAD waiting on biometrics only" Read about it here.

March 15, 2010: AOS interview - RFE for I-693 vaccination supplement - CS signed part 6!

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

ROC:

March 1, 2012: Mailed ROC package

March 7, 2012: Tracking says "notice left"...after a phone call to post office.

More detailed time line in profile.
