It's 8 blocks to the station, but it isn't 5 minutes, closer to 10.

(Worked downtown for 2 years)

Hmmm. I'm thinking of leaving here (Langley) at 5:00 AM. I can be at my old apartment by 5:30, with an 18 minute Skytrain trip to Burrard Station...then a ten minute walk. Hmmm. Not sure if THAT is the best bet or if I should just drive right downtown. I suppose there's enough to do in that area to keep me occupied while waiting for my test results.

Really? Only five minute walk from Burrard Skytrain Station? Maybe I will take Skytrain after all. I can park outside of my old apartment in Burnaby for free...

Yep it was not far at all! If you are heading to the consulate on west pender from the clinic the station is about 3/4 of the way.

Wyatt, your medical is THIS Thursday? How neat! I will be just a few blocks away at my interview ... maybe we'll pass each other on the street!

ETA: I am obviously not familiar with downtown Vancouver, it just occurred to me that the consulate the medical clinic aren't exactly close by, lol :P

Oh yeah -- they're pretty close. Only about twelve blocks apart, really. Definitely within walking distance. :)

And yeah! I hadn't thought about that, but I WILL be downtown for my medical on Thursday, right while you guys are having your interview! If you see a guy wobbling down the street, looking like he'd just been poked and prodded in unmentionable places...that'll probably be me. :huh:

Perhaps it's just me, but I'm thinking you likely went through the wrong door if that's the sort of treatment you find behind it. :unsure:
