Hello,

I brought a photo album with me. Bcoz the window is too small for the album to fit through, the pre-screener asked me to extract 6 wedding pics for review. I think it is best idea to bring any and all pics you can, give the prescreener what is requested but be sure he/she can see you brought many many more.

Good luck!

Did you file for a K1 visa? It would be helpful if you filled in your timeline.

There are no more packets that will be sent to your end until your visa interview. The important document that should be in your possession at this time are the letter from USEM bearing your MNL case number, Noa1, and Noa2 letter of receipt.

I submitted more than 300 photos during my interview. I segregated it into two albums and pasted 3 - 4 photos in each page. The binder that I used was flexible enough to fit inside the small window. Also, I wasn't asked about our hotel receipts, letter of employment, not even chat logs / email transcripts.. The consul just asked for my photo albums and based his questions in the I-129 attachments that we submitted few months ago.

I have an album ready for my cr1 interview. There are more than 200 photos. I think it's better to be safe than sorry, so that's what we are doing.

Anyway, I found another link about how to put pictures together... it may be helpful for you. Take a look:

We just did a couple of pages printed out on a decent color printer with maybe 8-10 photos on the two pages... Quality is not as important as content... Of course we had a stack of photos in our bag as a backup... She "The Interviewer" did ask for a PIC with us signing the marriage certificate.

We printed 2 pictures on each 8 1/2 x 11 photo paper. I think it was about 12 pictures (6 pages).

The especially liked the pictures of my family holding a "Welcome Jena" sign and commented how nice it was to show she had new family waiting for her.

We also had pics of my family holding the Philippine flag. BUT, we made the mistake of holding the flag upside down! :bonk: I showed the pic to my Jena and she said, uh oh hun, that means you are at war! We didn't submit those

don't put them in an album (it won't fit in the window)

paste 2-3 instead on a white sheet and more importantly put a caption on each one, describing the event, date, and who else are in each one aside from you and your fiance

We made two albums: one marriage related and one "other" and took both to the interview. The I.O. spent 90% of her time looking through the wedding album and made photocopies of some photos. If you are a card player, you know what a joker is: it's the card that overrides everything. A nice photo album showing you and your husband and friends and family at the wedding and later the reception is the joker of AOS. You just can't fake such stuff, which is why it's the most important proof of a genuine relationship there is.

For that reason, I don't think the typical Vegas wedding with Elvis Presley and Michal Jackson as witnesses is such a great idea, particular for immigrants filing for AOS.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.
