hi guys, just a quick question......is the fee at London embassy for k-1 visa 131 us dollars or 131 pound sterling?? i know we read it somewhere but cant find it now, we know the delivery charge is 14.50 but brain not working lol nerves i think :wacko:

so i guess if i'm paying in pound sterling on the day they just go by the current exchange rate at that given time?? and that's why they don't give a fixed pound sterling price?? :unsure: is that the case Muffin?? :unsure:

yes you can use debit card and it can be someone else's with them present :thumbs:

Is it ok to pay by debit card for both the courier and visa fee? Or do you have to provide cash?

I have a debit card, (which is maestro) and the couriers wouldn't accept that.

When I looked up the embassy information, it said the visa could be payed with a debit card displaying the visa sign. Same goes for the courier, (debit card displaying visa sign). No maestro accepted at the couriers.

I didn't get chance to try using my maestro card to pay for the actual visa, because my step-father was sent to take care of it whilst I handed over all my forms. Since you need to sign for the transaction (and I was not there to do so at the time) he just paid for the visa on his card for me.

The cost for the visa is in $s ($131) and the courier is in £s. I think I read somewhere here once that you can pay by cash for the courier, but it has to be the exact amount.
