I thought I read somewhere that if you go into the 4th month, your application may be in administrative review, or additional processing. Is that correct, or is the waiting so dang long making me hallucinate and have nightmares about posts that don't exist?

Not true - official processing times are 6 months.

Word of advice - go with just I-130 and forget about I-129f - you will save a lot of time and money by just going for CR-1 visa.

Thank you, we have decided to go with the CR1, but began as a K3, so I watch those in the timeline sections. The processing time listed is 5 months, why do you say 6? This SUCKS!

Also, any advice on how to upload a picture? I get all the way to choosing the picture, and then it never appears.

Thanks again for the reply, so 4 months+ isn't an immediate questioning then...good!

The listed processing times bear no resemblance to reality. They post those to inform you how long you must wait before they'll let you fine an official inquiry. Yse, I would say if you go past 120 days, there's probably some additional review or complication in approving your petition but not always.
