I met mine twice before we sent in I-129F. We are still in VSC stage though.

I've heard many many cases where people only met once and got their K-1.

We met once for only 10 days. With a MOB, that's all that's needed!!!!

I only met Katya once, for like 10 days, and the entire I-129F process from filing to her landing was a tad over 5 months.

I have seen people who met only once for 2 or 3 days and get approved. In my case we met twice before filing and twice more while we were waiting and one of those last two visits was spending most of the summer together in Grenada.

If you have things in your situation that may cause concern it will create more problems for you than having just met for a few days. For example if you are 80 years old and she is 19 or other things that may make it seem you are not a good couple such as no common language at all which will make them wonder how you plan to communicate but even those things won't stop anything, just make them ask a few more questions.

I assume more is better but did somebody meet just once, sent the petition and was approved with no problems? Thanks!

TWO!

Because the first time I forgot to make her sign all the papers before I returned home. I was not informed about what was needed to undertake this process. Second time I was!

mnay...but only one. Huh?

I met with Alla many times before filing the I-129f as I was at that point relocating to the USA from Ukraine and still making frequent trips tp Ukraine for business. However, for the I-129f I sent in evidence of only meeting ONE time and only ONE photo. We were approved in 58 days without RFE. I saved the other evidence of meeting (about 10-12 times between first meeting and interview) for the interview BUT they never looked at aany of it at the interview. We received a visa with no questions asked...none.

The number of times you meet is not so important, particularly not in Kiev which tends to be pretty easy and not at all for the petition. One time for the petition is all you need.
