Last one and I am sorry everyone to take this OT for a sec, but I just saw this and I am in tears. No offense to gun and parrot lovers:

Not all of us are talking about him.

Sheesh, I tried to bring this back to your suggested OT TOS rules, and even spiced it up with some delicious eye candy. But all you lot wanna do is talk about Charles. It's Charles this, and Charles that. Can Charles paint his boobies in glorious colors, while looking butch yet feminine? Well, can he???? Noooooo. I don't THINK so. :P

I vote that the body paint is well-done, but I think that looks like a mannish Demi Moore. I find it very disturbing. I may not sleep tonight, thanks.

Ewok, I'm trying to understand why there was ANY kind of investigation at all when there wasn't even a TOS violation. Two members got a little pissy with each other in OT, and it eventually winds up with a full-blown member history investigation.

The question you need to be asking your moderating team is why you had to be involved in a short-lived pissing contest (in Off-Topic, in a thead fscking called "the say anything thread"), and why it became an issue anyway. Because the only reason that this comment could have popped up on anybody's radar is WHO it was directed at, not what was said.

Two of your mods abused your trust to escalate a non-issue, they wasted what limited time you have to dedicate to this site, and now you are protecting them. Lovely.

FWIW, I agree that the 'attack' on Nessa (not really an attack at all) did not warrant any investigation at all by anyone. 'Attacks' of that nature are commonplace on OT. Charles himself is subject to worse on one out of every three (more on a good day!) he writes.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

They along with with a few other members raised it because I told the mods if they were ever in a conflict of interest and saw a potential issue to ping another mod or myself. Whether they were right or wrong is a non issue. I would rather everyone ping me or report an issue if they think they see one. It is my role to review the issue. I asked them to involve me in these situations to specifically prevent the situation you accused them of now.
