I RECEIVED THE K-1 NAO2 LETTER RECENTLY FOR MY FIANCEE. UNEMPLOYED SINCE AUGUST 2009 AND COLLECTING SINCE THEN DOES MY UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFIT QUALIFY? WILL I NEED A CO SPONSOR AND WHAT WILL BE HIS/HER MINIMUM INCOME REQUIREMENT? WHAT RELATED DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO RECEIVE FROM THEM?

Ok so let me make sure I understand this correctly. You plan to show unemployment funds as "evidence of financial support" for your fiance? Do you see something wrong with that picture?

You will need a Co-Sponsor buddy and the co sponsor should be earning enough to support his own dependents plus your fiance.

I used my unemployent insurance and my W2 income when I filed my I-864 AOS affidavit of support. It was approved. However, it's a 50/50 what the CO might say during your AOS interview if still unemployed. I don't know if your unemployment insurance can qualify you for an I-129 petition.

Good Luck
