Our AP Update - day 38 news - embassy called hubby

So as i'm sitting here now reading some good news on visa approvals, Ahmed calls me now , 11am Qatar time.............

he tells me that the embassy just called his boss to ask him about us and verify his job, and his boss was great about it, then the embassy called Ahmed and basically interviewed him again, same questions as when i went with him.

He said it went great, the CO on the phone was nice, just verifying our details. Ahmed asked him if we're any closer to getting the visa and told the CO that we want to start our lives together, etc., and was told the usual........we'll call you when we're finished........

But this feels like good news is coming soon.........several of our MENA family members got good news this week so maybe embassies are trying to clear out 2009 AP cases, insha'allah.

Another update-------the embassy just called me, 2:30am Calif time I was so happy to answer all the CO's questions, it was about 10 min long, his questions were very basic to our situation (i was married before and have 1 daughter), he was nice, then I asked him if he can tell me if we are any closer to a decision. He said he can't say, of course, but he will call my husband when they are ready. Ya Rab i hope we get good news soon

Ohhh Yeah it has been almost 10 months since my interview .and next month it will be 4 years since me and my fiancee were met the first time .and we are still apart !!!

i guess he will his visa so soon just be ready for their call with the good news ..... but it's my first time to know that other embassies call ppl to interview them on the phone , and they called his boss , and they called you in cali ,hmmmmm it seems to me that the embassy in qatar has no work to do so they just give you the feeling that they are checking while maybe they already issued the visa a week ago or something

Yes we had our interview at the embassy in person Dec 13th, I was with him for that, but I'm happy to know they are working on getting our AP finished

Hi everyone.....we have another update........

At 4:30am today Ahmed called me and said the embassy just called him again asking him how many brothers & sisters we both have, his salary and about our parents.........that's it

Will they just finish already??? We're just a normal married couple who love each other so much and want to live together in america, anyway, just thought i'd share our lastest news.
