Depends on what type of libertarian you're talking about. Could apply to any political ideology. The anarchists are a small part of libertarianism, just as self-proclaimed communists are a small part of the democrat party.

When someone keeps touting that the government is incapable of doing anything good, they are in effect espousing the ideology of anarchy.

It's too general. It's like conducting a poll on whether Americans are in favor of higher taxes or lower taxes. Just what services do people feel are worthwhile to have and which ones should be downsized or eliminated?

Yes, it's general. But it does speak to a strong lean in one direction over the other. Understand that when a Presidential candidate wins 52-48 it's considered a landslide. This is 58.

People are crooks. NO doubt. Some are not. There are honest Liberals (Joe Lieberman) whom i disagree with. And while i think he's cooky, Dennis Kucinich is an honest liberal too.. He at least had the guts to do what the rest of the dims secretly wanted.. impeach Bush.

As far as ideology, both the Dim and Rep party are stricken with liberalism. While the Dem party is heavily infested with it, the rep party is only moderately infested..

Liberalism, Socialism, Communism are failures proven by history. Conservatism aside from any party is a success proven by history.
