I have had only one touch since NOA1 - that was right after the NOA1 date and nothing since. Trying to be patient, not sure that that touches really mean that much but it is nice to know that someone has picked up your file somewhere along the line!

Touches dont come often in the beginning I had only one touch in April and didnt get any other touches until June so hey sit back and relax it always slows up at this time of year. Once it happens things will move faster then you will be bored because you dont have to hurry up and wait anymore then as the interview nears your nerves will start kicking in again!!!! Best of luck to you!!!! Find a new hobby.....or paint the house...... :dance:

You can also find your case number on the back of the check that was cashed.

I was just wondering how you got your NOA2 so fast?

You can sign up for case updates through the USCIS website.

At the home page, look at the left-hand column and click on Sign-Up for Case Updates. Follow the instructions for registering and entering your NOA1 receipt notice number (which starts with EAC or WAC).

You may sign up for e-mail and/or SMS alerts (SMS alerts will only be sent to a US mobile number). There is a column there called Last Updated; every time the date changes, that means your file has been touched.

You will ONLY receive e-mail or SMS alerts for major milestones in your case, such as Accepted, Initial Review, RFE, Approvals, Refusals or Card Production. You will NOT receive e-mail or SMS alerts for touches.

hello guys, can someone please tell me how i can find out if my case has being touched? my I-129f was received September 21st 2010 and i haven't heard anything thing since then. thanks

N-400 Timeline

02-23-2018: Sent N-400 Application online

02-23-2018: Date on NOA, retrieved from online account

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!

So Excited.. I finally learned what "Touched" means.. I logged in and checked and it says 2/09/11 Wooohoo.. Maybe I will hear something in the next month.

please guys are visa payments made before the interview day for K1 visa in Uk or on the interview day at the embassy? because i read on some peoples review that they were asked during security checks for their visa payment reciept, and also can i make payment US dollas cash. thanks

Well, it does show 'last update' date, which is i suppose the 'touching' date.

I'm the beneficiary.

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.
