LOL mine has been *touched* twice in the last two days...it's kinda frustrating in a way because it make me get my hopes up that something exciting is fixin to happen. So I end up checking like waaaaaaay more than I need to.

I was touched twice, one day after another, then I got the NOA2 by txt msg and email. At least you know someone is checking out your petition. Good luck!

Our case status was just updated finally. But the date just changed, the message status remains the same. Does it actually mean something or just another long wait? I hope it is a positive sign anyway. Good luck to all that yours is done quickly.

I just added our new I-751 receipt number to the "My Portfolio" section. No recent touches. I had to laugh when I saw our old receipt numbers in the "My Portfolio" section, one for the I-129F and the other for the I-130, both last updated 6/04/08. God, . . . I remember how confusing that all was with everyone on VJ trying to figure out which was the best route to go, I-129F or I-130? Mass confusion. It was impossible to explain to my wife. In comparison, this phase is a breeze (so far!). So much so that I have a hard time getting too excited about it.

Hello If you want a quick processing of your case, go ahead and do a walk-in Biometrics instead of waiting for September....I had my Biometrics done early as well. This will speed up your case processing...Just an advice because it works for many.

The first "touch" in your account with USCIS is them in-putting your case into their system, so it dont really count . Its the ones after that.

Uh - so - our case seems to be moving quickly...? We NOA1 was received 2 Sept, in the post on 7 Sept, and was touch on 8 Sept. Is this generally a good or bad thing??? Realise that question's a bit naff, but it seems like everyone else has slower processes, and I'm wondering if ours is moving faster 'cos something is 'wrong'...?

You've only had one touch, after filing. That seems to be what usually happens. Don't get discouraged if you don't receive any more. Touches are generally meaningless.
