Will the situation on Haiti delay the applications?

I have heard on the news that the President is granting TPS to Haitian will that decision affect the processing time for every other visa applications.

It really shouldn't - Temporary immigration status is for foreign nationals currently residing in the U.S. whose homeland conditions are recognized by the US government as being temporarily unsafe or overly dangerous to return to (e.g., war, earthquake, flood, drought, or other extraordinary and temporary conditions). TPS does not lead to permanent resident status.

(basically visitors/illegals to extend their stay here/stay of deportation)

If you have a valid visa application going through - it should be treated as any other visa application.

(all though, I have read they are speeding up adoptions for Haitian orphans - so they are probably making visas more available for them)

hiatian sounds like an alien from mars , unless he ment Haitian then all I can say is well

at least we know we will be with the one we love and we are alive happy and save yes we have to go trough a long process ( I went trough it when you love someone it aint to bad to waite a few month if it means you can have a happy life for as long as you live )
