Hi all! I'm a newbie here and this is my first post but i visit this site for quite some time. here's my story: My I-601 Waiver was approved and the US Embassy sent me a letter informing me to have a new medical exam, an nbi clearance, filled up ds-230 part 1 and 2, and visa photos.

Not in the list is my birth cert since they already have it but i secured a new one anyway, only to find out that my name was incorrect. The one that I submitted years ago was late registered and for reasons i dont know and the people from nso and our local civil registry can't explain, the original came out. Anyway, i have it corrected i retained the one that all my documents were named. But i didnt notice that even my birthdate was incorrect, i just noticed it this week when im arranging all my documents. There are 3 days discrepancy from what im using. I called our local registry and they said they can't do anything about it only the court can change it but it will take time and quite expensive. The best thing to do is change all my documents with this new birthday. With so little time, I really don't know what to do. Should I just leave it like that and worry about it later, since the embassy is not asking for it? What will be the consequences I am facing? My husband and I have been through a lot and we can not afford another rejection.

I will appreciate any help and honest comments...Thanks!

since the list does not include your BC, then just pray that they're ok with the one you submitted earlier on.

but to be on the safe side, get all the wrong information corrected for future use.

you might want to check out the website of the NSO to see what is required and how long.

good luck and god bless!
