anything else to be received with passport/visa?

along with the returned passport with visa, is there anything else besides the sealed envelope that should be delivered to my fiances home? are there any other papers / documents / forms she will need for US customs to grant her access into the USA?

Just make sure she brings the chest x-ray CD. I dont think it is required to enter the US but it will be needed for the AOS. OF course dont forget to have her go to the CFO seminar..that is the only other requirement that I am aware of.

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

Be mindful of your cd if it is with your packet. At POE the officer tried to keep it. Just something to be mindful of.

after she gets the passport/visa, she should attend the CFO seminar in QC or manila to get the sticker required for filipinos leaving as fiances/spouses/workers

CFO seminar??? can someone give anymore info about this??? I thought that when she gets her visa, that's the okay to fly to the USA???

The US doesn't care, Philippine Immigration does... She CAN'T LEAVE THE PHILIPPINES without that endorsement in her passport.


Must have info for bringing your Philippine wife/fiancee's child to the US
