Thank you Massachusetts for saving us from Obamacare and rest of his knucklehead agenda.
It ain't over yet, but: si, man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Mass already has the health care reforms which the Dem's aspire too, so... Not really a campaign issue for Brown.

I am thrilled thAt you keep your head firmly planted in the sand. You actually think healthcare was not an issue in the Mass. Senator's race?

We have a similar plan in Vermont, but without the insurance mandate that Mass. has. we have, I guess you would say "the public option", Mass. also has this. It has been disasterous in both states with employers dropping existing insurance and people signing up for the subsidized public option insurance at far higher rates than they ever imagined. Our plan in Vermont has more than tripled premiums since its inception in order to discourage people from using it!

Healthcare was THE issue in Mass. But I am very lad that Brown did not win by a huge margin as it leaves a number of Democrats still in denial. Please,s stay in denial until at least mid-November 2012

It might end up being a good thing. If I were Obama, I'd rip up the current health care plan and bulldoze single payer through. Might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb ;)

You know that I believe this should have been the plan from Day 1. Obama should have had a plan of his own, ready to hit the ground with a "Pass this, or make me a 4-year lame duck" message to Congress as soon as he took office. The Dimocrats would not have dared to ####### on it they way they have the current proposals. It should have been a clean bill about healthcare reform, with none of the extra baggage. It would have been ineresting and may well have passed first time.

Now, it would be an exercise in futility. It stands no chance at all. I hope the Dimocrats know and understand the fustercluck they've managed to engineer, without the Republican'ts having the votes to do anything about it. Healthcare failure can only be attributed to the Dimocrats.

I am angry, the voters are angry, what a difference a year makes.

I think this is more a wake up call to all those politicians who keep taking the people vote for granted. Even I've been really upset with the way the democrats keep bending backward again, and again to the republicans, BUSH NEVER CAME ASKING FOR CONSENSUS, the people gave you an agenda, you got elected with the promise of HOPE, then GO FOR IT ALL instead of worry about the next election.

with 60 votes the DEMOCRATS i don't know why they call themself that, keep BENDING BACKWARD to the republican, The tea party folks are the big winners in this election they have managed to do what the democrat has done just 1 year ago, wake up the populace.

It shows no leadership if you keep bending backward to accomodate the republican, they stand UNITED, and yet you have the division under the so call Republican calling themself BLUE DOG DEMOCRATS, ALL BS> If you are a democrat just as the republican you should stand by the people who send you there instead of playing politics and worry about the next election. Payback is a B*itch like they say

The people gave OBAMA and A MAJORITY SENATE to complete their agenda, the question is WHAT DID THEY DO WITH IT?

NY Post didn't even mention him by name on their cover story.

I don't think people will be likely to forget it in the coming months.

My friend at the Vanderbilt YMCA in NYC announced last week

that he was donating $200 to Scott Brown's campaign.

Only time will tell if he made a good purchase, despite the

fact that my friend is not a resident of Massachusetts.

Ladies: he's single.

Perhaps if they run a stripper?

For someone who portrays them self as so openminded and free of traditional moral restraint..... MC, you sure are hung-up on his photos from a few decades ago ....why is that?

I think you are torn between being hot for him and hating him.

He modeled nude! The horror! :o :o :o

Better than a nude Coakley. That would be horrific. :o :o :o

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
