After doing several hours of research I did locate the name of Janice L. Jacobs , Assist Secretary of Consular Affairs. She is apparently over all American Embassies and Consulates. Shannen was nice enough to find out the name of the point of contact in office, Ellen Conway the numbers to reach her is 202-663- 1153 or 202-663-3579. She had called and filed a complaint about the way her fiance was treated by the Embassy during his interview. She was asked to if she knew anyone with the same complaints and if so have them call. So please if you feel that you feel that your fiance, husband or wife has been mistreated or that your case has been mishandled by this Embassy please make a formal complaint with this office. Please remember that as US citizens we pay the wages of the people that are interviewing are family members, they work for the Federal Government and our family members deserve the up-most respect. If they start getting a flood of complaints maybe they will start an investigation of why people are being treated this way and why so many cases are being denied or put into "AP" in this Embassy!! Please leave a comment on your exsperince if you call in a complaint! Thanks guys, let's get this done! :help:

Thank you so much for this information. I as considering filing a complaint. I am also considering possible retribution for filing a complaint. I don't want my fiance to be denied a visa in the future because I filed a complaint.

thank you all for the info....Well today i am going to make my complaint I believe it wont effect future visa's! you know why? cos they are denying anyway on nothing wrong with a case so it can not be any worse then it is right now. they will deny you if they want to not based on a relationship or love they based it on how they fell or prejudice so my complaint with either help to change it or it will stay the same... so i am taking the chance it will change..Inshaallah

yea sweetie have fun marie i wish i was going con grat get a lot of pic ok muahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh love ya shannen and yes make that call so mrs conway will get enough to step in so far we got 27 person that make a issue on how casa treated there familes

Are there any updates on how the filing of complaints went? Also, any thought to moving this to the MENA Forum? There seem to be many people there who have the same complaints. There might be more of a response/reaction in MENA.

There are updates on the complaints. Please contact Shannen directly she will be happy to discuss everything she has found out sor far. It is very interesting.

Are there any updates on how the filing of complaints went? Also, any thought to moving this to the MENA Forum? There seem to be many people there who have the same complaints. There might be more of a response/reaction in MENA.

OMG! I am glad to see that I am not the only one that this just happened too. I am devastated because the asked my fiance over seventy questions and called his family and asked them several questions and told him he was a liar and told him that was it and leave. I am so upset that I am not sure what to do. I called one of those numbers and left a message. Thank you so much for the info. I have had to be put on anxiety :angry: medicine because of this long and very upsetting process. I feel like screaming I am so upset.

What questions did they ask his family? How did they get his family's phone numbers?

There's a lot of information in the MENA forum about denials from Morocco also.
