Hi,

We are in the Texas area, and it used to take around 4 YEARS to receive your Green Card after filing the AOS. We have read that some members have received it after several months.

Can any members in the Texas area tell me how long it took them?

Thanks,

Dan♥Analyn

4 years? yikes.

only took us 2 months. (In Ohio though).

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

I'm in Texas and applied for AOS 40 days ago. I already completed my biometrics or finger scanning but another lady I met at church got here last May, 2009 and received her green card in August so she has been working since then.
