Hi All,

I was wondering if we could sponsor our daughter (daughter is mine biologically but my USC wife's through marriage).

The problem is our finances ...

Seems you need to show 3 years returns for sponsorship. We are filing soon for 2009 and are well above the poverty level but given I came here in 2008 I had little income for my tax return and I have none for 2008.

My wife has tax returns for all these years but as she was/is a student it's below the poverty line.

Do they only look at the latest return or will they demand to see all 3 and do all 3 Tax Returns have to be above the 125% poverty line thing?

Also, I'm assuming we can just get my wife's gran to sponsor here if we can't meet the limit?

Thanks.

R.

I-864 you provide one return and report the "earnings" from the two prior to that... most important is the latest

Thanks ... the previous ones will be very low ...
