We recieved a letter from NVC stating they have recieved an approved I129F and will be fowarding petition to the visa issuing post overseas. This is great but we are confused as to why we neither recieved an NOA2 or got the status on UCIS website. Maybe well still get the NOA2 because National Benefits Center is a bit slow? Would appreciate any feedback on this.

Thanks,

FaK

So everyone should add following to their daily routine:

1) Call 1-800-375-5283 twice to hear case status for both I-130 and I-129F.

2) Check online portfolio three times a day.

3) Call NVC line, 1-603-334-0700, everyday to check if they miracoulously have recieved petition.

4) And always pray, pray and pray.

I am not kidding. These should be done, given this case!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never did that and I also got approved. I think it just involves more emotions. So adding those calls to daily routine isnt what I would do.

Try to relax, even though it is hard

True. it's hard. But sure its easier to relax when you are DFC and are staying with your spouse.

 now I had to laugh sweety. I am not with my spouse since January. We switched to DCF because the embassy did us a favour (two weeks ago). But I am also seperated, so dont believe I wouldnt know how it is like

My spouse is in the US for so long already and I dont even have a flat and work anymore, so it is not easy at all.

Try to relax

Also you just applied back in May....We applied back in February...so I would appreciate if you wouldnt judge so fast ;) You have 3 more months to go before you are able to compare your case with mine

FaK,

Same happened to me 2-1/2 years ago. Never did get an Approval Notice and the Online Status still says the application has been received and I'll be notified when they make a decision.

It looks like thats what seems to be happening. I got packet3 from the Montreal Consulate containing forms and instructions to complete before they can schedule me for an interview. Im glad things are finally moving fast.

same happened to me. I called NVC just for fun one day and they told me they sent it to embassy already. 3 days later I got mail from consulate. Boy, would I have been surprised, had I not called NVC!

SOmetimes this happens. So calling NVC after processing dates have passed yours a while or others with your same timeline have been approved can be good.

Aren't you required to have a copy of your approval notice for the interview?
