Your options are plain 'ole Thai post, or Thai EMS. Choose your poison.

K1: 01/15/2009 (mailed I-129F) - 06/23/2009 (visa received)

AOS: 08/08/2009 (mailed I-485, I-765, & I-131) - 10/29/2009 (received GC)

Any suggestions?

She sent it through EMS (registered Thai mail express, return receipt) and it cost only 30 baht.

It was sent Nov. 16 and she received the packet4 letter on Nov. 18.

We hope to meet you both when she arrives in NY.

Thanks, but what does EMS stand for? Why not FedEx or DSL?

Does FedEx do domestic deliveries within Thailand? I guess I don't know. EMS stand for "Express Mail Service" It's run separately from standard thai post delivery. Sort of like a Premium delivery service. I think they can get most anywhere in the country within a day, or at the most two.

Maybe none of the international carriers operates domestically in Thailand. Anyway, EMS will work. Thanks.
