This is sad, but probably true. However, if we knew someone like that, who would come up to us evertime they saw us and whipped out their phone. I would point blank tell him that he needs to leave and take his phone with him. In NO uncertain terms I would point blank tell him I do not want to be associated with someone with the total lack of feelings for other people and obviously very narcissitic (can't spell it, lol). I really couldn't care less if this particular group of people thought I was a party pooper or not. In fact, I couldn't care less what any people like that think of me. It is disgusting and I would be totally embarrassed if other people thought I associated with someone like that.

You're right, next time I see him I will tell him off, I haven't because I didn't think it would make any difference as many people have and he just blows it off... it's a public beach however so we can't ask him to leave, we'll have to go to another beach to avoid this one.

I meant telling him off as in "f off" of course I would if he was talking to me, but he doesn't really go out of his way to make conversation with me, I just kinda eavesdrop on what he's telling my hubby's friends.

Get his passport number, send a nice postal letter to the various Columbian consulates in the USA about what you've learned.

He'll be stopped at the first border crossing (at the airport in Medallin? ) and will be forced to learn a new lifestyle.
