Hello everyone,

I am Muhammad,,, I had my interview on April 7th, 2011,,,I get approved & the coonsul told me congratulation with my visa will be with me in 2 weeks,, so after 10 days I start to call DHL asking about my package, but there is nothing at the DHL,,,, So, my wife sent email to the embassy on April 20 asking about my visa status, but she get ans saying ( Kindly note that the case is pending administrative processing.)

Does anyone have an answer for that, they get my passport to give me the visa and then at them answer for my wife email saying pending AP????

This is normal. Two weeks is their standard answer. My husband was also told two weeks. It actually took 4 months. I wouldn't count on getting your visa in the two week time frame. It may not take 4 months but it could. It could also take a lot more than 4 months. I'm sorry to have to tell you that but that's Cairo's embassy for you. They're not exactly timely or honest.
