and they put him on the final review

today he recieved this mail

The Case was sent to National Visa Center for adjudication on April 19, 2010. The case file was sent by the diplomatic pouch.

so what they mean

I could be wrong but I think that it means that case has been sent back for further review or until a visa number becomes available. Is the petitioner a US citizen or an LPR? Im sure people that are familiar with this will be writing back to answer your question more accurately than me. I could have it all wrong. Either way I wish the best for your friend.

Sharifah, good to see you posting. I completely understand about the difficulties of adjusting. Ahmad has his good days and his bad days, but its getting better day by day especially since he recently got a job alhamdullah. Hope to catch up soon.

I am praying for everyone waiting on a visa. It can be such a stressful time while waiting but once you are together it makes it all worth it.

HOT GUY brother did u called them to get new updates on the case the last email u received from embassy in it they told u that u will receive ur visa very soon.

I know a woman her husband been in AP for 13 months and he just received the visa 3 days before and they had to send them embassy their new medical report. i think u also will need to send them ur medical report and be sure that u dont get medical report untill they ask u for it. below are the time lines of her husbands visa.

Dec 2007 - got married

2008 - filed for papers at USCIS

summer 2008 - NVC got case from USCIS

March 2009 - Interview at USEM

May 2009 - submitted passport along with other 2 police certificates

August 2009 - asked to submit names/ages of siblings

February 18, 2010 - submitted new medical exam report

March 4, 2010 - attorney received email from USEM that applicant will receive visa soon, so please wait.

April 26, 2010 - received the visa!! ALHAMDULILAH

and brother dont take tension or stress because it might effect ur medical in the medical they check ur P.A.V chest x-ray they check heart and lungs and check the signs of T.B so be carefull and drink liquids and stay bussy. i know its hard to stay relaxed when ur in AP , right now i am at my work and writing this post from my work this time as i am at work i am not taking tension because i am bussy but when i will reach home i will start taking tensions.

I called them on Monday and they told me they are still working on it .Yeah i guess they will ask me to redo my medical exam -That's if they are going to give me a visa - And i will not go and redo it before they call me .I don't want to put the horse in the fort of the cart .

Hello everyone, I am new here and I need your help. It has been 2 years waiting for the visa. The interview was on jan 2010 and they

Ask me to send form 1040 for joint sponsor and a proof of counting relation ship and I sent to them. Then they send me e-mail says that

The case is pending the officer’s final review. We will process the case to conclusion once that is completed. Then they sent another one says The Case was sent to National Visa Center for adjudication on April 19, 2010. The case file was sent by the diplomatic pouch.

My question is, how long it takes to send the case back to Egypt. And what should I to do.

Update :-

OK guys i just got an Email from the embassy .They asked me to provide them a new police record .I tried to call them several times to make sure but they did not answer the phone .I sent them an Email back and i asked them if they want me to send a new medical exam with the police record '' I told them its already expired '' .They sent me an Email back and they said '' Please provide us with the police certificate along with the medical examination '' if its already expired ''

So it sound like good news for me .At least i know that they are working on it and its not collecting dust on someone's desk .

But i really don't know if i did wrong by asking them about the medical exam .As a matter of fact i don't want to wait a few weeks till they call me or till they send me an Email when they will find out that i have to redo it .And i really don't want to redo it in USA cause its going to cost a lot of money .

Oh my gosh!! HG!! That is great news!!!! I can feel it in my bones, you are getting close!! I hope the journey will be over for you soon my friend!!!!

I don't think you did wrong by including the medical is expired too. I think that is just you spearheading any more delays that may come up. I kind of did that too at my husband's interview. Right off the bat they asked about my "official" divorce decree from my ex-husband so when I pulled it out of my file, I said to them "oh, here is my 2009 tax return too, I wasn't sure if you wanted them or not." Both the woman who asked for it and I knew that they would want it. I just brought it to her "attention".
