hi to every one..,,i am new here and i have some questions if u don`t mind

my interview was 4 feb 2010 and i was approved and the CO. said to me that i will get my visa after 2 weeks now it is 5 weeks and i sent to them 2 emails the first reply was :

Dear Sir:

The case is pending the officer’s final review. We will process the case to conclusion once that is completed.

US Embassy, Cairo

and the other reply was :

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your e-mail message.

Please note that the case is currently pending consular officer’s review.

I DON`T KNOW HOW MUCH THAT REVIEW WILL TAKE ,,, ANYONE KNOW MUCH THAT COULD TAKE ?

there's nothing you can do for now but to wait until the review is done , but also you can call the visa unit to ask the update of your case .

actually , no one knows how much does it take as it depends on the consular officer and your case and if they are busy or not .

isA your visa will be issued soon best of luck and keep us updated

yes the embassy after the interview and the congratulation then you will get your visa after 2 weeks.

after one month they ask me a proof of our relation on jan and i send it on 19 of jan

i called the embassy today and tell him my case number and he told me it's normal the Co will see your doc soon

so it's still not reviewing , he told me yes but soon

so , i'm wait to the end of march maybe i hear a good news

Well talking about the 2 weeks believe me they say the same to everyone i mean to everyone .I had my interview back in March .The CO told me that everything look good and she just needs to do some AR .I asked her how long its going to take ? She said 2 weeks .I will hit a year of waiting after 10 days and still no visa .

I hope that we all will hear good news soon .

Hey dude your case pretty much smiliar to my case the good news the officer final sounds promising you will get your visa it is just typical precesure it could takes weeks or months mine took 3 months before the consular compeleted all the actions on my case and i used to get the same reply for 3 months so be patient and it is all good . good luck

i am a new member here....little about tamer and i. we married on march 8 2009 and didnt file the i-130 until jan. we have only gotten the noa1 and have not heard anything since. I have been reading all the notes from everyone and want to wish all a speedy process. I am going to see Tamer again in 3 weeks for the 3rd time. keep me posted and please keep me company through this difficult process.............thanks

you are welcome and we will do our best to give you as much information as we can , my thoughts to you is to read carefully and do exactly as the instructions say as one mistake will cause a months of delay and the most important is to be patient, patient and more patient .

Good morning everyone!! Any news yet???

Well my husband is going back to Qena on Monday. He is paying his penalty and hopefully is able to finally get the release from the army!!! Keep us in your prayers!!

I'm going to be a nervous wreck until I hear from him coming back from there!!
