Bijad will be at the consulate in Casablanca. We spoke earlier today and he seems to be handling it pretty good, although I know he must be nervous. I stayed strong for him, but am going crazy inside. As we all know Casa has been turning down a lot of visa's - for whatever reason. We have no red flags - that I know of, although we aren’t in the best financial situation. I am in school and I will graduate this May and Bijad is living at home with is elderly parents. He does most of the repairs, errands, etc. I feel pretty helpless. I talked to him about all the tips and suggestions that I received online and he is ready. I am nervous but so happy too, that maybe this part of the journey will be over and we can REALLY start our lives together. Please keep us in your prayers.

Thank you :star:

INSHALLAH INSHALLAH he will get his visa. Yes they have been sending petition back but it doesn't mean that yours will be sent back. Stay strong and trust that ALLAH will see you through this all.

GOOD LUCK!! Will be keeping fingers and toes crossed for you!

Do you see how big the sea is?

Do you see how big the sea is? My love for you is as big as the sea.

Do you see how far the sky is? My love for you is as far as the sky.

As big as the sea and as far as the sky I love you,

I waited for you, I called upon you, I drew you on the promenades,

You sorrow of my life, you tears of the flowers, you season of the birds,

How vast the forest is, my heart is as vast as the forest.

You who are drawn on my door, and drawn in my heart,

I waited for you a year, and throughout the year I would ask the walnut trees,

and I would see you in the sunny days, coming from the sunny days, and lost in the almond leaves,

How small is a tear, and I am just a tear in your way,

I want to vow a candle so that you would let me love you.

Just keep your head up and be positive. Have him go in there with good spirits and be positive also. Appearances are everything. If this gives you any hope... my fiance did not have a good interview, actually it was pretty bad and we were both crushed. They would not accept any evidence we had, and they did not keep his passport. That was on December 7th. This past Friday he received a call from the embassy to come with his passport tomorrow. I called DOS and they could not say for sure, but she said it appears to be an approval by looking at our case files. So... be positive, tell him to stay focused... insist they look at the evidence, and dont appear meek. Dont let all the supposed denials shake you, and inshallah it will all be fine!

It's now 2am there - 6 more hours and he will be at the consulate... :help: I am actually kind of feeling at peace. I guess I know there is nothing I can do. I feel we did everything possible to make our case what it is. We can only do so much - now it is up to the interviewer to see how much we love and need each other. Please continue to pray for us.

Thank you...

It's only 8pm here - but I am going to go to bed early and try to get some sleep. I haven't slept well the last few nights. We will see how this sleeping thing works out.

I remember the night before the interview.. it's a stressfull time. I think I woke up every hour on the hour.

You know how when you look back on stressfull times you can sometimes laugh at how stressed out you were? I don't think the interview will ever be something that happens with. My husband and I look back on the times apart and the stupid paperwork and can laugh, even the questions that were asked in the interview are now funny. But the stress of waiting while he was in the consulate for the interview is not something that I find entertaining.

Hey, I have been up for about an hour or maybe a little more. I'm not for sure. I woke up but tried to stay in bed and go back to sleep. It's 12:17 pm in Casa right now and no word from Bijad. I know it can be a long day of waiting for Bijad so I am not worried yet. ;) Thank you for all of your prayers and please continue to pray for us. We truly appreciate it!
