I prefer the US to do as much in equal proportion as every other country in the world is doing... but that aint gonna happen...

When the Haitian government was overthrown by rebels in 2003-2004 it was the UN (headed by Brazil) who provided the UN peacekeepers.

"White guys, get the hell out!" some survivors shouted in the city's Bel-Air slum, apparently frustrated at the sight of foreigners who were not delivering help.

At a destroyed nursing home, 71-year-old Jacqueline Thermiti said she could hold on for another day. "Then if the foreigners don't come (with aid), "it will be up to baby Jesus."

I asked you a while back if you knew much about Haiti - if you're asking me this question, then I have my answer.

Let me add a little more. The UN peacekeeping operation replaced a smaller force of US and French soldiers who were first on scene.
