OK.

Let's pull out and invite the French to do a better job without a shot

being fired or any "collateral damage." No good deed goes unpunished.

The French will have to bring their "Creole" dictionaries if they mean to be understood.

Maybe it's just sour grapes because they can't get landing space for the

hundreds of planes they sent laden with humanitarian aid.

I guess if we have an earthquake on Long Island, the French will want to say how they got there first.

I am still stuck on France actually caring about something occurring elsewhere in the world.

Really? My impression was that France is very active in humanitarian activities.

Yeah, bad joke on my behalf.

You know the French. If there is anyone just as ethnocentric as America, it's the bloody French.

Haiti has no real, functioning government. It's time we call a spade a spade here and claim Haiti as U.S. territory.

How about we offer them the choice? A range of first world countries can offer to accept them as a territory. Then let them choose who they want to be apart of. Ex Australia of course. We just don't do third world.

Given the history between the two nations and their relative location to one another, the U.S. seems to be the most logical choice.

Uh-oh. Neither does Canada. I don't like where this is going...

Canada should accept them since Canada at least has money. Furthermore, you need to have some sympathy for them. I wouldn't wish the US legal system and way of life on my enemy, let alone a poor country.
