Yeah, that was mentioned before by GaryC. I believe this to be very likely.

A few more days, and we will all be able to confirm this theory. More data is required for a proper analysis.

Good luck!!!

I believe this because all of the approvals from the CSC had returned their IMBRA rfe's immediatly, most recieved by the CSC no later than July 5th.

ACTUALLY MY IMBRA RFE WAS RECIEVED BY THE USCIS ON THE 10TH vs YOURS THE 11TH.

I BET THOSE EXTRA DAYS IT TOOK US TO GET THAT FORM BACK TO THEM WILL COST US 20 DAYS.....STILL A APPROVAL IN 20 DAYS FROM NOW IS MUCH BETTER THEN WE FEARED, RIGHT???

I think it's fair actually.... better than sit on those petitions and wait to approve according to NOA1, IMO.

But even though it's fair, it sucks a big time for me! I only returned the RFE on the 19th.... oh well... it's just frustrating that I couldn't send it back sooner. :(

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

--- Wish us luck!!! ---

We should remember that every case is different.

Even if they are processing it by RFE reveived date, it doesn´t mean the approvals will follow the pattern.

They will PROCESS the case by this order. What they will do with each case can´t be predicted.

It is fair to process things you have rather than wait for thins you don't, but if they have the RFEs back, even later in the month, of petitions from earlier on, why let those sit at the back of the line? THis is what they seem to be doing. They say they will respect NOA1 dates, but they don't seem to be. It seems to be a whole new queue!

True. But as Yodrak said earlier, it makes no sense to keep reshuffling piles. It wouldn't have been hard had there BEEN piles to begin with but who knows.

We could debate it for weeks. Oh, wait, haven't we already? :P

They probably are respecting the NOA-1 dates. "Well Bob, look at this one dated March 10th" - Bob: "very respectable, put that one over there, it doesn't have enough dust on it yet"!!!

They just ain't approving them.
