Could a Filipino travel to Bermuda WITHOUT A VISA, just a PASSPORT. Yes, Ive seen wikipedia and a couple answered questions on yahoo answers saying you can, but I would like more verifiable sources, could someone please tell me, Like a Filipino person or someone who knows for sure....

My girlfriend keeps telling me that she needs a visa because she would be passing thru countries that require a visa like the U.S., because it wouldnt be a direct flight

If she's already here in the US and holding a Green Card and has a valid passport then there is no problem for you two travelling to Bermuda. If she is still in Philippines then she needs to apply for a Visa to enter Bermuda.

It is worthy to note that Bermuda, as well as, Costa Rica is the closest country that Pinay can travel to, in proximity to the US. So, if Kano just can't or won't go the Phils to meet her, then they can meet in these countries. I imagine it is just a matter of paying the visa fees to get approved to visit these countries.

I hear if ya go to Bermuda, it is required to wear Bermuda shorts to get thru the POE!

so she basically does need a transit visa if entering the us, i dont know if i should even bother with the whole transit visa thing or just have her fly in the other direction, the other way would pass over dubai and europe and i dont think anything on that side of the world requires transit visas

Ok does my girlfriend (a Filipino) need a "transit visa" to travel through Japan and the U.S. while she is on her way to Bermuda? I do know that up until last year they needed one just to pass thru New Zealand but not anymore.

Are you petitioning your girlfriend? :time:

If she has already a US Visa then there should be no problem if you will book a ticket for her with a connecting flight in Japan to US. What is she going to do in Bermuda? Is that really her destination? Unfortunately, Philippines is not included in the Visa waiver program of the US meaning she needs transit Visa if she intends to enter US before heading to Bermuda.

I-10 West if you go back to that website you gave me and go to the homepage there is a box were you type in the country you reside in and the country you plan on visiting, when you press check requirements it says NO TOURIST VISA REQUIRED

Yes, that is correct no visa required if the person/traveler is from the United States BUT for Philippine Citizens, living in Philippines, a Visa is required to enter Bermuda regardless whether if it's for business or pleasure trip.

How much does it cost for a Filipino to get a transit visa and how long does it take? It seems the only way Filipinos can go to "visa free" countries is to get a TRANSIT VISA that is ridiculous. Im really hoping obtaining a transit visa is not an impossible task like trying to get a tourist visa to the U.S. I really need help
