vartan - That hilarious! What's sad is that no matter what we have done... congressperson... senator... letters... calls... emails... nothing has changed. They do whatever the heck they want and however they want. I'm sure there supervisors there making pretty good money laughing their bunz off at us.

Also touched for the first time, today. I almost had an accident. Co-workers thought I was crazy.

Packet 3 Recieved in El Salvador by Digna October 17, 2006

Packet 3 Recieved in Calif. October 21, 2006.......Go figure, it was mailed on the 17th of October.

Medical completed Friday, Oct. 27. Instructed by clinic staff to call Embassy (Visas USA) for appointment.

Arrival SFO Dec. 29, 2006

Married Jan. 03, 2007

Also touched for the first time, today. I almost had an accident. Co-workers thought I was crazy.

We have quite similar timelines...all things considered.

Perhaps they are now actually taking a bit of time to reorganize based on reciept dates.

Its 'possible' that enough noise was made to merit this. There were very little support of the "doesnt matter, just get the pile done" ideology, even by those who were lucky to get super fast NOA2's...it just didnt add up to a long term goal or positive PR for that matter. Many people have been getting touches w/o email notices.

Those who couldnt understand how that type of system could still work after IMBRA, consider this: throw 5,000 papers with progressive numbers all over the floor. A staff of even 10 people could EASILY order them in a matter of hours probably. Not that hard, and SHOULD be done at this point if they are out of sync. They might have quickly realized that the complaints and watchdogs were not gonna let up for those who have been waiting for 4-6 months for NOA2's and they needed to suck it up and do it right.

Is a theory...one of the few pseudo positive ones I can think of right now.

It looks like most of you that were touched today had RFE receipt dates of July 5th or 6th. I bet they are getting ready to send a batch of NOA2s out. :star:

December 26, 2006 - Darcy's last day of employment on his 90-day work authorization. Bummer!

December 27, 2006 - Filed AOS and EAD paperwork

January 3, 2006 - Receipt date of NOA1

January 11, 2007 - 'touched'

January 17, 2007 - transferred to CSC

January 19, 2007 - biometrics appointment

January 22, 2007 - 'touched'

January 23, 2007 - 'AOS touched'

January 24, 2007 - 'touched'

January 31, 2007 - 'AOS touched'

February 1, 2007 - GREEN CARD ORDERED!!!

February 5, 2007 - Received Welcome Letter

February 11, 2007 - received GREEN CARD!!
