No fingerprints letter to this date, its been almost two months since they received my N400, all i seen is one update when i check my status online, why they did not send me a fingerprint letter? i know for fact this will only delay the process, i called them and all they did is filed a service request and told me i would hear something in 45 days, what happen and what should i do if i never hear from them?? and what if i make an infopass and go to local office and they reject me for not having a fingerprint letter? what else should i do??

You can make an Infopass appointment. You don't need the fingerprint letter to go to an infopass - in fact the two activities are often done at two separate locations. Two months is longer than normal. It is certainly worth following up on now. You can't do the fingerprint appointment unless you have the fingerprint letter, but you can do an infopass appointment. Good luck.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

For the I-751 after 30 days without a biometricc letter we called USCIS and did a service request. It work,

I imagine you can to the same for the N-400 fingerprinting.

Meod-Definitely schedule an infopass appointment asap! 2 months is certainly too long to wait for your fingerprints to be done! Wow, you must be really patient to wait that long! And yes, for all you know, maybe you can get your fingerprints done the same day as your infopass appointment, since you are there anyways (lol..I did that, as I went for an infopass to ask about the online rfe status..and instead got the fingerprints done early). So yeah, go get your infopass, so at least you can find out more about your case, and who knows, maybe get your fingerprints done at the same time too.

Hope this helps. Good luck for the rest of your journey too.
