Hello,

I have a question about ice, ive recently dropped my student status. And apparently ice has been looking for me in my previous address. First time when i came to the US, i came to a good american family, and the address was registered in my college too. I want to go to visit them for couple of days, is this possible they could come to the first address to look for me?

Please, help me with this,

THank you

If you are no longer in the country legally (since it sounds like you came originally on a student visa), then it would be best to make arrangements to leave and return to Russia. After returning home, contact the American family and arrange for a visit and then apply for a tourist visa.

Which visa did you actually have? Generally, you are given a certain period of time to leave the country, but that can vary depending on the visa.

Sincerely,

Scott & Christine "Kiki" Cushman

I hate to sound mean in this post but I have read and kept up with the others you have made, you came on a student visa, worked off campus (which you knew was not permitted), got married, stopped going to school, did not file for AOS, now in the process of divorce, and you are running trying to avoid deportation is the best I can make of your posts.

My advice is to cut your losses and return to Russia. Trying to spend your life living here illegally constantly looking over your shoulder is not a good way to live. I understand and sympathize that perhaps life where you are from may not be good and you may not wish to live there but this is the wrong place to be asking for advise on how to avoid deportation/arrest for being in the country illegally.
