Tend to avoid anything that results in addiction, may get a kick but also become a slave to a drug dealer. Don't need that in my life, in a sense, your MD is also a drug dealer.

People's wills are dominate.....and rebellious by nature.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Nick, we never knew that MJ was physically addictive. Love to see a link on that one....

I say legalize it. Legalize all drugs, even. What is the difference between pot and alcohol? Both are drugs. And the whole 'oh they're gonna be high all day if it's legalized' argument really proves worthless for 2 reasons:

1 - Peeps are gonna do it anyways, legal or not.

2 - There are legal ways to throw your life in the crapper. Why is alcohol ok, but pot isn't? Why are cigs legal yet pot isn't? Marijuana at least has medicinal purposes for some...there is no health benefit whatsoever to cigs.

Furthermore, based on an economic standpoint, the war on drugs would be more successful if, instead of diminishing the supply by raiding these drug dealers (which actually increases the value of the remaining drugs on the street)....instead, if it were sold legally, and taxed...drug dealers would be neutered, and we could tax the hell outta it.

So win-win. And no, I don't really care how any person wants to spend his/her life. You wanna throw it in the crapper on drugs? That's your choice..

May cause paranoia, bloodshot eyes, temporary stupidity, laziness. . .

I would rather ride in a car with someone who's high provided they had enough experience with weed rather than with drunk. The pothead might get lost or forget where he's going.

Paranoia is because it's illegal. If you smoked it in Amsterdam or somewhere where it's decriminalized it just makes you mellow. Temporary stupidity, maybe. I personally don't believe so. It can make you spacey and less present but I don't think it dulls your overall intelligence, I've had some pretty enlightening conversations with a whole room full of stoned people. Laziness, yes that's why I stopped smoking. Still not as debilitating as a hang-over.

It is most definitely not addictive. When I decided to stop, I stopped.

I'm a cigarette smoker who has tried to quit at least 10 times. I know something about addiction.
