I'm not a football fan! I hate sports!

Son tells me the cheapest Packer ticket is 106 bucks that buys you a seat only wide enough for one of your butt cheeks. Then you have to sit out in the cold and is damn cold with the lake effect, can't bring in any refreshments or even a candy bar, have to pay outrageous prices for that stuff. Seems to me to be a nice place to go to if your really enjoy being screwed.

All the stores sell Packer jackets and those stupid cheesehead hats, wouldn't be caught dead wearing either, but did look at the pricetags. To me, wearing Packer clothes is an advertisement to the world, that you are a complete idiot.

I can get drunk watching a Packer game on TV, just by watching all those beer commercials, a cheap drunk.

DALLAS COWBOYS WILL WIN THE SUPER BOWL

They do have the best looking cheerleaders, shame on wives for limiting the camera views. And yes, while oil is still king and Texas is the oil state, the Cowboys will always win. Do they still have cowboys in Texas? We certainly raise a lot of beef in Wisconsin, not only that, but pigs, chickens, and turkeys. Certainly a lot of chickens, but they don't like to be called chickenboys.

And is there really such a thing as a "cowboy"? Somehow a "cowgirl" seems more appropriate as cows are normally girls. Least in Wisconsin.

Is anyone else excited about the playoffs?

I'm a huge Saints fan, so clearly my pick for the Saints/Cards game is Saints.

Then I'm rooting for Ravens, Vikings, and Jets.

Apparently the Colts can win even with having a bye week before the playoffs. It was a good warm-up game for them and now they're one step closer to going to Disney World. :dance:

Dave and his friends went up for a game to "the shrine of football" in December three years ago. They're still raving about what a great trip it was (they actually talked about it last night). Apparently there's something special about watching a football game while freezing your a$$ off. They intentionally went late in the year to get the full effect. They had a friend who had season tickets so they were already hooked up when they got there. Beers were cheap compared to going to the Georgia Dome and with all the clothing they had to wear to keep warm stashing flasks was an easy task. He says it was special and he'd go up there again in a heartbeat.

Yeah, I'm stuck in Seattle (actually I love it here). I just don't think people get the relationship between the fans and the Saints. Also, what's with the Bengals and their stupid "Who Dey?" Don't they know "Who Dat" is an old vaudeville/jazz phrase and it was picked up by Patterson High School in the 70s (I think when Dalton Hilliard played for them) and then the Saints in the late 70s? Who Dey? Dey is losers... :lol:

They may have to beat the Vikings with Brett at the helm. Crazy officials didn't even call for overtime with the Cowboys only 31 points behind, so I think the Cowboys chances of going to the Super Bowl are kind of nil right now.

Maybe next year.
