Hello meod,

I'd assume that they'll do the biometrics again- after all, you want to get your money's worth out of your application fee (which did include a whopping fingerprint fee ;))

Alles Gute,

Rebecca.

They 100% will do fingerprints all over again ...... for the n-400 application. You pay them the $80 and they "get cha' again!" They do no take photo for N-400 as you send picture in yourself with the application!

Good luck to you!

but i have not received any fingerprints letter from them, all i got is NOA, its been almost 2 months now and no FP letter. I called USCIS and they made me file a service request, i should have made an infopass and went to local office and explain them the situation, they said i have to wait up to 45 days to get an answer from them, can i still make an infopass and have my fingerprints done at the local office or do i have to wait for service request which it takes forever as i heard from other people.

Wife's last fingerprints was eleven months, but we still received the biometrics notice for yet another 435 mile round trip. Some here reported they did use their last set, but are not notified that for whatever reason, they did use the last set. Wife had three sets of fingerprints taken for the entire process. And yes, the USCIS still charges us the 80 bucks whether they use the new or old set, they told congress it cost them that much to retrieve them.

It's not easy dealing with the USCIS, you just wait until something comes in the mail. Can really be a panic when waiting for removal of conditions, can't work nor travel without that green card. That requires action on your part.
