in my answer i checked NO, and i was issued 2 traffic citation before, i already submitted my N400 on November.

do you think i should have checked YES, whats going to happen to my application?

thanks.

Not sure I understand when you were cited.

If it was before you submitted the N-400 at the interview when you are questioned about the details on the N-400 you will have to explain why you left them off.

If after then you will have the chance to update the information.

If the fine was more than $500 you will need to take the documentation to show what it was. If less than $500 you don't need any extra paperwork.

This is what the Guide says:-

Note that unless a traffic incident

was alcohol or drug related, you do not need

to submit documentation for traffic fines and

incidents that did not involve an actual arrest

if the only penalty was a fine of less than

$500 and/or points on your driver’s license.

Hello,

I had a speeding ticket and checked "yes" on this question. Even though my fine was below $500, the officer asked to see documentation for it during the interview. (Even though the instructions state that documentation is not necessary for fines below the $500 line.)

From what I read in other boards, you should be fine, though. If I was you, I'd bring a copy of the tickets (or any other documentation) to the interview. I'd definitely disclose it- better late, than not at all...

Good luck,

Rebecca
