We received notice of I-129F approval on October 7th, 2009. I have been scheduled an interview for Feb 8th, 2010. Technically that is 1 day over the 4 months validity period.

Will i still be alright as far as being able to receive a K-1 visa? I won't get to the interview and then be told that oh actually, your I-129F has expired, you need to re-apply.

I assume they are aware of the validity period and would not schedule an interview knowing that it will have expired?

I actually only discovered today that there is a 4 month validity on it. I had absolutely no idea before, i don't remember being warned about it. Starting to worry a little.

Consulates have the authority to extend the I-129F petition and they regularly do so in these cases. I don't think you havce anything to worry about.

Yes, the Embassy or consular officers may revalidate your NOA2. Make sure to keep a copy for the AOS.

Hakuna matata.

God bless us all.
