I am US citizen, and my spouse in here in the US, I plan to file I-130 and I-485 package. I found that I need to provide my piror divorce decrees. I divorced twice. The most recently one I kept the document. But the first divorce decree was lost. Since my first divorce was filed over 20 years ago in California. I cannot remember in which court, as I remember I lived in San Jose at that moment, I thought it was in the court of Santa Clara. Unfortunately, I tried to contact the court in Santa Clara, they cannot found any record of my case. I am being struggle and depress about that...... Can anyone advice me what to do now?? Do I need to give each divorce decree?

Yes, copies of all divorce decrees are required.

Since my financial situation, I cannot hired an attorney to handle our case, but I consultated an attorney for free that he said its required, I asked for his advice and he respond that I need to found it out by myself. He also remind me, I should make prepare everything well before submiting the petition, otherwise, I've got deny at the end. Unfortunately that I have lost contcted with my ex.. I am so frustrated.
